Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of RA Paruyr Hovhannisyan met with the president of the European Union Criminal Justice Agency Ladislav Hamran

On March 25^th, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of RA Paruyr Hovhannisyan met the delegation of the European Union Criminal Justice Agency (Eurojust) led by its president Ladislav Hamran.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon the issue of providing legal basis for the establishment of the cooperation between the RA and the “Eurojust” agency, mutually praising the already effective cooperation between the relevant bodies of Armenia and the agency.

In this context, they exchanged views on the prospects of expanding cooperation in the fight against corruption, the elimination of transnational crime, and other similar areas of mutual interest.

Reference was made to the possibility of establishing cooperation with the European Network for the Investigation of Genocide, Crimes against Humanity, War Crimes, Genocide Network, Justice and Consumer Directorate General (DG JUST).
